Day 5 of 30: iPhone Blog App

Day 5 was on a Tuesday. A normal workday, like any other. I commuted into work on the bus and tried to distract myself with my iphone for the hour plus long ride. I was thinking how if there is an app for everything, why couldn't I find a good blogging app that I could update via my phone. I searched. Found nothing. Got downtown and walked to work.

At lunch hour, during certain times of the year, a fitness class is held in 50 minute time slots. Things like yoga, pilates, and random fitness classes geared toward giving employees an outlet for their pent up anger and frusteration towards the general public. Okay, maybe not necessarily for that exact reason, but it helps.

So off I went to a Core class for 50 minutes. We spent most of the class holding onto a little green blow up ball and using it to hurt ourselves in various ways. V-sits, situps, holding weird and difficult poses and the like. It felt great as usual to get in a bonus workout over lunch.

After work I ended up getting a ride home from a very sweet co-worker. Thank you!

Once home I had the urge to sit on the couch and relax after a long day at the office. I went to the fridge and peeked inside. Then I remembered that old habits do die hard. So I marched myself upstairs and into my fitness cave for my daily workout with Mrs. Michaels. She and I are getting pretty tight!

Day 5 complete!
