Day 25 of 30: Lunch Run

This morning I went to take our truck in to get the alarm fixed. The ford dealerhip had installed an alarm system for us when we bought it in January but the alarm has never worked properly. I got out to our truck, parked on the street in front of our house, and noticed that someone had been inside. All of our belongings were thrown around. All our change was missing. The disturbing part is that someone would have the audacity to go into our vehicle. It's disgusting and violating. We didn't lose much but that's not the point. I'd like to think that whoever did this will get payback in the form of a bitch called karma.

Finally got the truck to the dealership and hopefully they will properly install the shock sensor today so this never happens again. I made it into work late this morning, but I made it and that's what matters. Today is all about the little wins. I'm fighting off a sore throat and a bunch of guilt cookies from last night. I'm trying.

On a happy note, only 5 days left until I can say that I've completed the 30 Day Shred! I might actually miss it, just a little bit.

At lunch today I decided to try out week one, day one of the Couch to 5km program. I got my workout clothes on and at 12:30 left my office and headed for the river pathway nearby. It was full of people, walking, jogging, running, cycling, and was interesting to see. I ran for 60 seconds and then walked for 90 seconds for a total of 30 minutes. I even ran a bit extra after the program was completed since I was still a few minutes away from the office. I returned tired and yet refreshed.

After work I rode the c-train over to the dealership and picked up our truck. At home my husband and I spent 30 minutes doing workout 3. It was difficult today. Yesterday seemed easier somehow. Jillian is not getting any nicer as we go along...

Now for a relaxed evening at home with a blanket, a cat and the remote.

Day 25 complete!
