Fitness Testing

Yesterday I began my new pilates class at work I've lunch hours. It was an okay workout. A bit easier than other pilates classes I have taken, but I'm just glad to get away from my desk for an hour and get some exercise.

Today at lunch I had an appointment to do fitness testing at the Bikini Bootcamp office with my soon-to-be trainer Terese.

From my office it was just over 2km, so I ran intervals on the c25k program there. While at their offices, I did 5 minutes of stepups onto a 6 level step platform, did 75 squats, did 15 big girl pushups, and then proceeded to do situps until the trainer had to tell me to stop. I was also measured, which was not to my liking, as knowing that you're big and fat is not the most fun thing in the world. After all the testing was done, I ran intervals back to my office. Sweaty and tired, I changed, washed up and got back to work.

It feels good to get fitness into my days. My plan seems to be working. Now if I can find a good dietician I'd be all set!

Tomorrow I train at Gold's gym with Tanya and then it's time to party on Saturday! Our wedding reception is going to be a great time. I can't wait to see everyone!
