Day 29 of 30: Doggie Day

This morning I woke up early, at 8am, and jumped right into my workout with Jillian. I still have to pause the DVD a few times to catch my breath, but have been getting more endurance little by little. One more day to complete my first fitness project. It feels good to accomplish something if I put my mind(& body) into it.

Last night our dog, River, had a doggie sleep over with her friend Tola.


The girls ran around playing in the backyard, spent some time chewing rawhide bones, played ball and tug and just had a great time. Tola was a great house guest and a really entertaining dog to have around. She's so full of energy and tries to eat everything! We are really happy that River has a new friend!



Late morning I headed to Gold's Gym to workout with my trainer Tanya. We did an hour of circut training. Today it was a leg workout, with lunges, stairs, wall squats, suicide runs, and a bit of abs tossed in. I'm really loving training with Tanya! I always feel so positive after our workouts.

The afternoon was filled with errands, a bit of shopping and then washing the truck. Now it look respectable again. Here's a couple of photos of our new 2010 F-150 Platinum.




Tola's parents came to take her home, and River is going to sleep for a few days to recover from puppy-overdrive. Tonight is date night at our house. My lovely husband is cooking dinner and we are planning to settle in and watch a few movies. Life is good.
